3/12/2005 - E-mobile today announced the launch of a new service that will allow e-mobile services to be recieved even when not in E-mobiles coverage. A box which plugs into the telephone line acts as a wireless E-mobile E-point. Then all of E-mobiles devices can intergrate and our services are available out of coverage. This service will be a short range in house service that the Phone, Broadband, TV and Gaming services will be available through.
3/12/2005 - E-mobile announced on the 1st of december that it would introduce a wired version of its network allowings faster speeds of up to 100mbps. The e-port service uses the ethernet standard and people in our coverage will be able to recieve this upgraded version of our network. There will be an extra fee for the instalation of the e-port service. All our current services will be avaiable using the e-port service apart from the wireless gaming.
2/12/2005 - E-mobile will introduce wireless gaming packages later this month. It will be compatable with the Sony PSP and the Nintendo DS. The Nintendo DS requires certain games to access the WiFi network. Internet browsing, TV services and online music services will be compatable with the Sony PSP aswell as online gaming. 1/12/2005 - E-mobile today announced that we offer High Definition TV services over a wired connection using the 1080i standard. Wireless HDTV will use the 720i format. The E-port service will allow all of our services to be recieved at faster, higher quality rates of up to 100mbps. More info soon.
29/11/2005 - E-TV 1 is here and you can have it now!! simply click on "TV Services!" at the top of the site and fill in all the details to recieve the trial version of E-TV 1. Films are being looped this whole week with live shows starting soon.
24/11/2005 - E-mobile has announced it will offer High Definition TV services when the 3rd generation network is launched. The 3rd generation network which was announced yesterday allows connection speeds of up to 54 MBPS which means perfect ground for offering High Definition TV services over our broadband connection. The first channels to be upgraded are as follows:
E-TV 1 and 2
Box Office hype will be upgraded, however some films will not take full advantage of the new resolution.
All other channels will be upgraded but over the course of around 6-8 months.HD services will at first only be available through WebPlayer.
23/11/2005 - E-mobile today annoucned that shortly after the launch of their second generation network they will upgrade it a faster connection of 54mbps, this will make a pathway for better quality telephone services, faster internet speeds and High Definition services.
1/11/2005 - E-mobile will offer Pay Per View and On Demand content at the launch of its network. People using any of our packages can use the PayPerView services whilst OnDemand services will be reserved for our Loaded customers. The new services will be named "YouPlay" and "Your Choice TV"
